Mandate

The AABSS Journal exists for the purpose of providing a peer-reviewed forum for scholars, researchers, students and administrators who conduct original research. Among its objectives is the dissemination of top-quality scholarship. Articles in the AABSS Journal relate to all areas of the social and behavioral sciences with particular focus on applied research, practice concepts, education, administration, training and evaluation.

In all cases, authors must account for the implications of their research in at least one of these areas of social and behavioral sciences. Selected manuscripts are sent anonymously to two reviewers for recommendation and comments. All those considering submitting a manuscript to the AABSS Journal are expected to review the Guidelines for the Submission of Manuscripts and The Review Process very carefully.

Please Note:

Submissions that do not adhere to the Guidelines will not be considered for peer-review.

Prospective authors should also make note of the Peer-Review Form (pg. 9) that will be used for those manuscripts selected for blind peer-review.
