The Hotel
The conference will be held in the Flamingo, located at 3555 Las Vegas Boulevard South, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Flamingo is a resort destination located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
Convention Sleeping Room Rate
$119:00 per night, single or double occupancy. Rates are subject to Clark County Room Tax, currently nine percent (9%.) Additional persons will be charged at the rate of $30 per person, per night, plus tax, with a maximum of three persons per guest room. Convention rates apply from Wednesday, February 6 through Friday, February 8.
To Make a Reservation
Call the Flamingo at 1-800-732-2111 on or before the cut-off date of Mon, Jan 7th 2008! You must identify yourself as a participant at the American Association of Behavioral and Social Sciences (AABSS) Conference to obtain these rates.
Early arrival and late departures may be requested at the applicable Group rate at the time the reservation is submitted.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit for the first night’s guestroom and tax charge. If the reservation is guaranteed to a credit card, a first night’s guestroom and tax charge will be billed immediately to the cardholder’s account.
Flamingo accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Diner’s Club.
Check-in time is 3:00PM and check-out time is 11:00AM. Any departures after 11:00AM are subject to the full day charge.
Each guestroom must have at least one registered guest 21 years of age or older.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 7, 2008.
After that date the AABSS’ block will be released, and reservations will be on a space availability basis only and at the prevailing rate. If the AABSS block is filled before the deadline, and there are any rooms in the hotel, you will be charged the higher hotel rate.
Cancellation Policy
A room not cancelled seventy-two (72) hours prior to the attendee’s scheduled arrival date will automatically be charged a cancellation fee of one night’s occupancy at the contracted rate. Any remaining nights of a “no-show” reservation will be cancelled.
Transportation
The Flamingo (Las Vegas) is located approximately twenty minutes drive from the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Taxi, limousine and bus services are readily available.
